1982 Trans Am cowl induction hood gasket

I just had the hood painted on my 1982 TA with the power bulge hood and I need the gasket that seals up the top trim piece. Does anybody know if it is available new or repro and if not what is a good alternative to make the gasket with?

Try calling Classic Industries (http://www.classindustries.com) They have one listed, but don't list the years. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they can let you know very quickly if they have one or not

I wound up taking the old one and using it as a template to make a new one from pick up truck cap seal. It wasn't perfect, but it worked pretty good.
