Sunken Door

The front of my driver side door is no longer flush with the body. It's now recessed about a half inch or so in comparison to the front body panel. What would cause this?

Re: Sunken Door

Look under your car, just behind the front wheel. There should be a metal flange with a bolt in it. The flange should be pointed straight down. Many times, either with a floor jack, lift, speed bump. these flanges get mashed. When they do it usually kicks the fender out. Straighten the flange out and the fender should come back in.

Re: Sunken Door

I'll get ya a pic if you really need it but it's just to the inside of the ground effects. Bolt in fender should be parallel with ground. More than likely it's mashed up to the point that it's hard to find.
