Different Style One-Piece Air Dams? New one doesn't fit right.

Hey guys,

I know that there are two styles of Air Dam's, the one piece and three piece. But does anyone know if they have or had made two different style one-piece air dams?

The reason i ask is because the old one I had on the car was nearly an inch taller and is an inch wider on both sides than the "new" one I got in (GM part from Classic Industries) which causes the bolt holes to not match up properly on the ends (had to use zip ties).

My car is an 84 but the P.O. put a front clip on from an 88 GTA because she liked the look better (as do I). You can see the pics of my car domain page found in my signature (no close ups of the front unfortunately). Thanks for any info or insight into this!
