I love thirdgens, especially yellow ones! I rarely see any in yellow though...

This is my friends 92 Formula. It is a 350, factory TTop, Jamaica Yellow. Black interior, just under 100,000 miles all original never modified. This car is scheduled for the fall to under go a pretty intensive Exterior/Undercarriage/Driveline restoration.

my 92 Jamaica Yellow bird, 80k miles. Pics are from when i bought it 2 years ago, and pretty crappy. It now has black crosslaces now and a lot of suspension work. Hopefully get some new pics when it comes out of the garage this spring.

Nice 'birds, guys! I hardly ever see yellow ones, though over the years, it's hardly a rare color over the years! (I only see one other on a regular basis and he lives right around the corner from me!) Anyone else got a yellow one?

Wow, those are beautiful birds! Always loved the yellow thirdgens too, I plan on painting my 91' Firebird GM Yellow Gold with silver decals just as soon as I can scrape the money together. I don't really like yellow on most cars, but third gens wear the color very well.

The last Yellow 3rd gen i seen was a mid 80's IROC that was in a junk yard. It had caught fire in the engine compartment. Very sad because the rest of the car was solid.
Yeah, I was looking at the production numbers and they werent really all that rare, So how come I only see red ones? In my area red, then white are about the only colors I see.
Any more?

Give me a month or so. Im in the prep stages right now.
WOW! Yellow must not be a "survivor" color! Only 4 on all of TGO? I seem to remember a really sweet looking yellow camaro on here but cannot find it... Maybe he's not around anymore.
You can currently still see the outlines of the Police stickers that were on my car and I'm kind of sentimental about them. When I DO repaint it, I will be using the C6 vette yellow.

I just used copy and paste from photobucket. Click on the picture you want to post. When the share/copy list pops up click on the IMGcode. It will say "copied". Then go to your post and right click, click on "paste" and you should be good to go.Originally Posted by znate

(IIRC, it was the rarest year for yellow.) Cant remember where I saw the production numbers, I think it was on these boards somewhere....
