Wrong fenders?

I have a 90 Camaro and I'm trying to replace the front fenders, but I've run into a bit of a problem. My 1990 front nose has tabs that accept a flat bracket with three studs coming out of it. However, the fenders that I'm trying to fit have two slits instead of three holes. Am I ok to use these fenders? Do I just have to drill the three holes and I'm good to go? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Wrong fenders?

The fenders are all the same shape on the outside and will look the same regardless. They probably just changed the mounting methods between years. I would say you could just do what you said and be all set.

Re: Wrong fenders?

you need 1990 and older fenders, the ones you got are for 91-92 camaros with the different style ground effect. I have a pair of 90 and older and i plan on cutting the slits open to work on my 91
