RearDriver Rocker Panel/Bumper extension. Rarest Part ever?

Recently in parking lot I was the victim of a hit and run (Oh No!) I wasn't extremely upset about the whole ordeal because I thought it was just a bit of some scuffed up paint (my clear coat is already peeling quite badly) and a body panel I'd have to re-attach, however it turned out that the piece was broken in a few places, so I'm trying to find one and I can't, I've went to local junkyards and did a bit of online searching and on here but couldn't find anything other than some sites that were no longer active, before traveling to further junkyards, I was curious if anyone on here knew where to find one.

PART INFO:
Rear Driver's side Rocker Panel, the piece that's not the bumper, but directly behind the tire.

VT No. : 2052
PT No. : 10118433

Pics added, Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Are they any different from the 1991/92? I know a lot of the body trim was different, are the part numbers the same?

Classic Industries has them new, but not sure if you can buy just that single piece or if you have to buy the whole kit. I forgot my catalog tonight.

I noticed they had rocker panels, but from the image and description it seemed like it was just the main piece between the front and rear tires, not the extra piece behind the rear tires.

It is listed as the Z28 trim stuff. It is this stuff here if I am not mistaken:

http://www.classicindustries.com/cam...ts/c15289.html

Not cheap, and doesn't appear to be available from the website as only one piece. When I get home I will verify with the catalog, since I believe I saw them available as individual pieces.

Thank you so much! There's a reason this site is always the first place I go with questions I'll check them out tomorrow when I get off work, if I can't find them individually on the site I'll be sure to call or email and ask, thank you all for the info, it was all incredibly helpful!

That is possible, I can't say for certain. However, if the quality is good, and it is identical to the original part, there shouldn't be an issue. At least in my experiences with Classic I have never had any issues with the aftermarket stuff I have purchased from them. Mostly stuff for my Blazer though, so I can't speak to the Camaro stuff.

Re: RearDriver Rocker Panel/Bumper extension. Rarest Part ever?

Well, that would depend on what you are looking for, and what you are willing to spend. Even a good used one is 20+ years old, and there are no guarantees that it won't break when being installed. Either way you are likely to need to paint the part, unless you get lucky and find one in the same color as your car. In my opinion, why not have a new part that is likely to last another 20-30 years, rather than risk a part that you may have to replace a couple years down the line.

Again, just my opinion on the matter. Dealing with old vehicles for me is much easier when the parts can be purchased new, rather than hoping to find a NOS or good used part that is worth refinishing.

Re: RearDriver Rocker Panel/Bumper extension. Rarest Part ever?

Yeah, they're plastic pieces and the way they're molded they can be bent pretty badly out of shape is the seams break (See the picture in OP). And since they're only plastic and not bare metal, it woudnt matter if I left them unpainted, which I most likely will do, since I'm just going to wait and have the whole car done at once. And I'd much mater have two brand new looking black/gray ones than a faded red or yellow haha. I'm going to take a look at my passenger side one and see if I should just order the pair, or inquire to them about single sides, either way once they arrive I'll let you know how they compare to NOS parts.
