Windshield wiper transmission assembly
My drivers side wiper arm started acting up yesterday. It wont move sometimes, and when it does it will swing to the apillar and stay there. I took off the wiper arm, and found the teeth to be chewed up. This piece in the pictures is suppose to be attached to the gear on the wiper arm transmission assembly right? The piece acts like a key i guess, but its broken off.

That's where it's supposed to go. They break off pretty routinely.
