Which do you guys like better on a Black Third Gen? Factory looking 86 IROC Black with Gold lettering and factory gold rims or 92 Z28 with 92 ground effects and hood blisters with wing on back?

 

Noone has any thoughts on this?

 

ive been thinking bout usin a 4in cowl hood, 92 side skirts, and a 5 in spoiler from hawks but i think the factory looking 86 would look good

 

i think the black body, gold skirts and wheels looks nice man, theres actually one in the '83 camaro section on here. all its missing is the gold iroc decals.

 

You can't beat the original look for the IROC with the small spoiler. Especially that 92 wing... WHAT were they thinking when they put THAT on there?

That 92 wing is love it or hate it, everyone has an opinion on it! The duckbill style Z28 wing is my favorite on the Camaro. The painted wheels are nice, too.

 

Love the 91+ GFX and blisters. (all personal preference here) i feel they make the car look slightly more modern and a bit meaner

that being said, i've got a set of the 91+ side skirts and an 88 camaro spoiler on the way to give my TA a little different look than the usual. its your car, do it up how *you* want it to look

 

I'm stuck between a number of things... I like the look of the original IROC but I also like the looks of the 91-92 Z28... I've also thought about doing the 91-92 gfx, wing, (Turbo/daytona hood) and some 18" Z06 wheels.

 

I know what you mean about certain aspects of third gen cars. It would have been cool to have been able to pick and choose what ground effects, tail lights, rear spoilers, and hoods we wanted on our cars during the entire run. Of course that would not have been cost effective for GM.

Personally, I like the 1982-1983 functional crossfire Camaro hood.

 

I voted for the more stock look simply because 25 + years later, I'm still a sucker for that original look. If I were to add aftermarket rims, I'd only go with slightly larger chrome Iroc replicas. My

 

I've thought about that too majobis and for the same reasons... I remember seeing an IROC several years ago that was maroon and had the black racing stripes and it was sharp! Now that I'm older I'm more into the factory look but the kid in me keeps jumping out!

 

Im sorry. But I just can't get into painted rims. Unless its a black trans am gta.
