Side Body Moldings?

I just wanna be clear about which moldings my car is supposed to have...
I'm pretty sure mine is supposed to have the longer/thinner type.

however I'm pretty sure I've seen an 87 with the thicker shorter side body moldings (maybe they were swapped?)

based on pictures that ive looked at extensively - they switched from the thinner/longer ones (varying types of course like on Berlinetta version) in 82 - 87, to the thicker shorter ones in 88 - 92.

Someone mind confirming this information please?...

Re: Side Body Moldings?

1987 has the thinner design. They went to the more rounded and wider door moldings in 1988.
