My 91-92 front spoiler fix!

I've read many posts of people fixing their sagging 91-92 front spoiler, but none of them showed how they did it. Well, I did mine. I'm not completely happy with it, but it looks a lot better.

I'll see if I can get pictures of what I did underneith later, or tomorrow. What do you think?

Re: My 91-92 front spoiler fix!

I'll probably get pics tomorrow. I just went to home depot, and bought an 8 foot piece of angle iron (aluminum) and cut pieces that would bolt where the air deflector does and then to the front spoiler and bumper cover. (I pushed the bumper cover forward a bit as that sagged a bit too.) It'll make sense with the pics.

Here is how I did it. I'll get better pictures tomorrow as the spoiler is off right now so I can fix the cracks in the corners.

Re: My 91-92 front spoiler fix!

I'm just curious guys, but how far out should the spoiler be? Is the pint in the spoiler supposed to be a little lower? Just a little? Or is the whole bottom side of the spoiler supposed to be straight across (as I have it in the pics now)? I parked a little too close to a well and bent up the bracket I made, but it still works!
