PAINTING A 3RD GEN HELP PLZ!!!

OK I JUST SEEN WHERE SOMEONE HAD PAINTED THEIR CAR WITH THE SUMMIT PAINT. IM ONLY PAINTING MY CAR SO IT LOOKS DECENT FOR THE NEXT 7 MNTHS THEN IM GOIN ALL OUT BUT IT LOOKS TERRIBLE RIGHT NOW SO I WAS WONDERING WHAT DO I NEED TO BUY MY PAINTER AND HOW MUCH OF EACH THING WILL I NEED TO PAINT MY 3RD GEN?

Just prep the car and hit it with a coat of primer. It should look better than you are describing it now, and then you can wait and get the paint done right later on.

its actually not a good idea to leave the car in primer and drive it everyday. primer traps moisture and leaving it exposed to the elements will help promote rust under the paint. if you just want something to look good for a few months then check out this.

Just get a can of rustoleum and be done with it like everyone else.

if youve never painted anything ever i suggest you get a gun a compressor and practice on things before you try a car.

you might as well...i wanted to get my old 82 GT painted but the body was kinda rough so i shot it with satin black rustoleum actualy came out good only cost me $40 including the sand paper i wanted to paint it but the gt nose was too expensive i ended up ripping the engine out 2 months later anyway....it was good enough for a DD
