rear resistance does not allow OEM third brake light

Car: 1991 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28
Engine: 6 LITER after rebuilding :)
Transmission: 700 R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 / 9:7:1
rear resistance does not allow OEM third brake light
My hatch glass resistance has horizontal lines starting 8 1/2 inches from the top (8 1/2 inches from the metal retainer); it does not have the pocket area allowing for the third brake light. See the pics. Does this mean that mine is not an original factory issued hatch glass? As far as I know, the 1991-1992 models all had this intriguing third brake light. Is this 8 1/2 inches enough for the OEM third brake light; how LONG is it?

dont think its the stock hatch glass. mine has the 3rd brake light and rear defroster and the lines go around the light.
