weather stripping questions

i basically dont know what each part of weather stripping is called..i need the little piece that is attached to the triangle part on the front of the window, the part on the door itself at base of window and the weather stripping section that the window rests against..whats the best/cheapest place/site youve found them at, and are there kits for all of them or is it better for me to find them individually? specific names for each part would be appreciated to help me look them up too.

the 1st pic has the triangle seal and the stripping at base of window both..as you can see theyre pretty shot

the ones at the base of the window are usually referred to as sweeps or felts, which we also carry

Re: weather stripping questions

Hey Dan or Tony....

How do I remove and install the roof rail weather stripping on my hardtop? Do I need to take off the black plastic trim pieces off or do I just pull it out?

I appreciate any help that you can provide.

Thanks in advance....Doug

Re: weather stripping questions

its been a long time since i had a hardtop, but i'm pretty sure the weatherstripping is just glued in place. a heat gun/hairdryer may help get the glue a bit more pliable, but chances are its all still going to fight you to come off

Re: weather stripping questions

So I am assumming that I need to take off the black trim that is on the A pillar first?

Do I just glue it back on or is there screws to hold it in place?

Thanks again...
