Hello everyone, I have a 1984 Z28 Camaro I am redoing. My question is what is the paint code for the silver ground effects on these Z28's? Thanks

 

I believe the code is wa7448. Check you body tag on the car to make sure that is right. It should be on your drivers side door or in your glove box or by your spare tire. It will be down towards the bottom of the sticker, you will see a number with a U, "stands for upper" and L "lower". Hope this helps

 

This is the code at the bottom wa-u3967-L3967-a8653. does that sound right?

 

I own a paint business and ran your numbers, wa 3967 = arctic white, 8653 = Dark Goldwing Met. The colors sound right as long as it is the org. paint and not repainted

 

so youre saying the paint code says the ground effects should be gold? I think someone has changed out the console arm rest. I am coming up with paint codes PPG3308 and DUPLI-COLOR GM301 or DSGM 503 on line. no signs of my Z28 being repainted, i am the second owner an its all original. does this sound right?
