91-92 high-rise spoiler swap help!!

Car: 1989 Camaro RS
Engine: Non-stock 350 bored .040 over
Transmission: Stock t-5 (soon to be t56)
Axle/Gears: Stock 3.08 (soon to be 3.73)
91-92 high-rise spoiler swap help!!

Does anyone know how hard it would be to swap the stock high rise spoiler on a 92 z28 for the Hawks tall 3 piece??? Thanks

they're going to have different mounting holes, so you'll need to find a way to fill in the factory holes and drill new ones for the 3pc setup.

OR.. i just did the opposite of you.. i went from a 3 piece to the high rise.

the mounting holes on the deck lid are different.. would be a long drawn out process to fill in the holes and re drill new ones because the under side of the deck lid is where you would run into issues.. there is like a "double hull" with recessed holes on the under side of the deck lid.

easy solution would be to swap deck lids from a 3 piece wing car.

I happen to have my 3 piece deck lid still here, i was about to list it on ebay. I see you are in AZ im un UT, i can do it for $100 shipped.. its heavy.

Swapping deck lids is easy, they just bolt on. I have a picture of the lid too seen here

could you get a chance to toss that on a bathroom scale to see what it actually weighs, been debating replacing mine with a fiberglass piece

Yeah I can do that tomorrow when I'm home. It feels like a good 20lbs
