round tail lights in a bird?

Thinking about fabbing something up with a housing basically same shape as current tail lights. Maybe round lights from a vette or earlier camaro. Not a fan of the long lights but not a fan of crap either, I would be able to back out if it looked funny.

Anyone seen this done well? I don't mean with 2x4s from home depot and some trailer lights.

I have seen it done - "well" is a matter of opinon. I saved these pictures not knowing if I liked them or not. Not my thing but I'm sure could be worse.

I found this car for sale on Craigslist. Personally I think the lights look okay, the car needs some other items to make the lights better. Wheels too wide, jacked up in the back and the high rear spoiler might not work with this look. Overall, could be kind of cool with some more custom work and slightly more detail done on his lighting panel. Cool concept though.

I agree on all those points. I am thinking that the 07 to 11 (maybe 12) vette lights would look better. They are more round i think.

But after seeing other threads/pics I think I will pass on that.
