84 camaro, popping noise when taking off

84 camaro, popping noise when taking off

somebody tell me what this noise could be. whenever i take off from a stop, there is a popping noise from my passenger side front wheel area. there are no sway bar end bushings there so could this be causing it? or is it something more serious?

Mine is doing the same thing, I believe its the strut tower bearing plate.

I had something similar a few years ago after getting some transmission work done. I took it back to the shop and there were some bolts that had come lose which they re-tightened.

your end swaybar bushings need replaced my trans am done the same thang in one was missing on mine so i replaced mine in it dont pop any more
