im thinking about painting one of my irocs blue, since i cannot seem to get any good deals on any localy, let alone trade one of mine for one. so i need some motivation to start getting the nerve to get one of mine painted. i am unaware of how many differant shades of blue there are, nor if it changes from year to year. but i want 85-90 iroc shades of blue please. there is one that catches my eye but i dont know the paint code

1987 Iroc blue... Don't have the paint code right now, but it is the factory color!

 

its hard to tell from the small member pic you have. but the one im painting is an 87 as well. so i most likely will end up with a shade in that year. but i would still like to see all

I can see the pics and they are beautiful- mine is an '87, same color. But now I know what it is SUPPOSED to look like without New Mexico beating the crap out of it for the past 25 years. :-)

I want to repaint it, same color, with heritage stripes... need to see if I have that paint code somewhere.

 

ahh yes, now i see them. im on a differant computer. i love that color, now i just need a paint code. to be sure, i want to know how many differant shades there are for the iroc years. im almost certain thats the color though

just bought my iroc logo/stripe kit. now to begin the body work. i just need to find someone with good prices on painting the car. does anyone know roughly how many gallons of color cover a 3rdgen? i will supply the color so they cannot get it wrong, and let them handle the rest.

i think im going with nufnuff's color, since the one im going to paint is an 87. and hes pretty much the only one beside zz3 who stepped in with a pic of the color and the code. i wondered what the quezar?? blue looks like, but no one posted.
