Last timing set I bought from summit, double roller was cheap... some say they wear to much and you are better off with a stock link belt type.
Oil pan, I bought a cheap chrome 1 piece seal kind. It was ok but would not clear my y-pipe set up.
Carb- depends what you like, Q-jet for mileage. edelcarters are popular but i think they blow...
If you can tune, best deal is swap meet carb and go through it....

I'm thinking,"Power behind the wheels"means "to me" taking what you have and applying it to the pavement for starters. That means a Posi/LSD and some decent gears if you don't have them yet.You may need to replace the items that you listed ,and if that's the case great, but I would start with a better flowing intake and exhaust, then posi/LSD and a set of decent performance gears if you don't have them all ready.
Sorry I wasn't any help with the parts you listed , but at least for me the fun factor with my car spells, posi, gears, gears, and gears.
