door locks are going bad ?!?!
whenever I try to unlock my car the key only wants to go in a certain distance. I have to fiddle around and turn it to get it in far enough to unlock. I'm afraid that some time i might not be able to get into my car. I am using a copied key, not the original. but it goes into the hatch release just fine. I haven't tried the passenger door, but I will tomorrow. If it is the lock, how hard are they to replace?

Try shooting a little WD-40 in the keyhole. It will probably free it up.

Do not use WD-40 in the keyhole. WD-40 will attract dirt and gum up the lock later on. Go buy a $2-$3 bottle of graphite lubricant and use that. It won't attract the dirt and your lock will work much better.

Well I tried the key in the passenger door today, and it went in perfectly. So I think it has something to do with the lock. Once I get the key in the lock it turns, its just getting it all the way into the lock that is the problem.

I have the same problem with my drivers side door. Except on mine the key will go in just fine but then it wont turn. So I look like an *** when I go to the passenger side of my car to unlock my doors since the drivers side doesn't work. I was thinking about just switching the places of the two lock cylinders so that I don't have to deal with the broken one.

Graphite lubricant is acutally a fine powder and designed specifically for use in locks.
Your local car parts store should carry it and the applicator resembles a tube of superglue, will go straight into the keyhole for 'squirting'.
