Anyone know where i can get a 4th gen style SS hood for my IROC? I have seen the ASCD SS hood, its ok but i dont like how is kinda squared off and stays high behind the intake. I want one that is smooth like the real SS hood. anyone know who makes one like that?

Because of the shape of our hoods I doubt you will ever find a 'real" SS hood. They don't curve as much. The ASCD one is designed after the 97 SS hood, which is does a very good job replicating. I've had mine next to a 97 SS. The 98+ is a different look, but the hood is also more slanted, that is how they got it to be that smooth...

So you think the ASCD hood is the closest to a real SS hood that ill find? Is it really a good match to the 97SS? Like how close would you say it is? Thanks for the help.
