Where is the airbag coil loacted?

Where is the airbag coil loacted?

I need to remove it, where is it at? Is it in the steering wheel colum?

What does it look like?

The coil is in the steering column. It is a round thing that looks like the old cam gear for the turn signals. It looks like it is the first thing you come to behind the bag. It is under the hex locking nut and retaining ring. I am looking in the GM repair manual, any problems e-mail me.
