What material is used to fill the drain plugs in the floor pan? It's some kinda of hard puddy that has some of the jute padding stuck to it where it was glued. Does anyone know what was used? It's over the four big drain plugs in the floor pan.

 

I used regular black silicone weatherstripping (tube, by Permatex) on the floor where I had to.

Say What????? When I pulled the carpet to replace it I never say a drain plug in there or anywhere. Where would of it been?

They don't look like what you'd think; they're a piece of oval metal, with two tabs opposite each other. You can see one from directly under your rear hatchback well, and another one under the car, by the catalytic convertor, where the passenger's feet go. The way they get sealed almost defeats the purpose of calling it a drain plug
