body panel gaps/differences

body panel gaps/differences
Are 88 fenders and doors any wider than 83's. I have an 83 firebird with 88 bumper/fenders and the fenders do not sit flush with the doors. The fenders are about 1/2 inch wider creating a gap. any answers / help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

82-84 fenders are different from the other years (85-91) as far as part #'s go
Same for the door shells and skins
I don't know about dimentions,, but the are different parts.
