How to remove defogger wires?

Does anybody know how to remove the rear window defogger wires from the glass? Is ist possible to remove them without hurting the surface? I don't wanna get rid of them and then the glass is scratched or not looking good. Thanks for your help!

The best way I can think of to remove those lines is by a sharp razor blade keeping it very close to the surface, almost parallel so it doens't scratch the glass. You could also try some 3M adhesive remover to weaken the adhesive keeping the lines on the window.

Totalled it but saved a bunch of parts before it went to the junk yard.
