I know this is a really dumb hood question but...

Would a 67-69 oem cowl hood fit my 91? Thanks


I can get a new one that's made for 82-92 really cheap but somebody offered me that hood so i tought I'd check first

Not to be mean, but maybe you need your eyes checked. The 1st gen hoods look nothing like the 3rd gen hoods. You could cut the cowl part off the 1st gen hood and graft it on the 3rd gen hood if you are a good body man or know one.

I know a body man that grafts cowls and other scoops onto stock hoods and they look killer-like they came that way, but he is a super good body man.

Yeah i know a body man and Well that's what i meant. I knew it wouldn't fit right i just tought if there was a way to be creative we could get are body guy to do it but I'm just gonna leave my RS hood or buy one that fits 82-92, as i said i get them cheap.

You need an 82-92 hood but I'd grab the 67-69 as I'm sure there's a market for it. You could possibly sell or trade it for the hood you need.
