Hi guys...I am trying to apply the stripe decal that goes around the car just above the rocker panels/ground effects on my `86 Trans Am. I am having trouble getting them to conform around the bumper corners. It seems they want to bunch up around the bottom of the decal. Any ideas? Will the hot rag trick work with these? I am using the decal kit from Classic
(Pheonix).
Thanks

try using a hairdryer to apply a bit of heat to them, should help.

Do you have them in the correct places? I got mine from Phoenix graphics and if I remember right they were all pre-cut for the specific body panels and had bends in the material to compensate for the corners. They were shaped like hockey sticks for lack of a better description.

I had the same problem Hawk,I could only get one corner to cooperate with the heat gun. That's the only freaking place I had trouble. When I get my car back from the body shop,I'm taking it to a local graphic shop to have the new set put on.
Are you using the slide stuff that Phoenix has??I only had trouble with one rear corner, you kinda have to pull on the tape and heat as you go around and up on the strip(real PITA) I'm doing all the other decals,I know were they go,just having them do stripping.
