Some punk broke into my car and ripped out my radio and took my head unit which was in the console box. In the process, he damaged my air conditioning/heater controls. Even when the air conditioning control is set to off, air still blows out. And I can't set the temperature to cold. It can only be moved in a portion of the warm/hot range. Does anyone know how much a new one would cost or what could be wrong with it? Can a regular shop take care of this or is this something that is going to cause me a lot of grief. Thanks.

Hey sorry to hear about that, my car got broke into awhile back. I don't know how much it would be but you should check out www.thirdgenparts.com I do alot of business with those guys and they might have one. They usually have the best prices out there. I hope this was some help to you.

 

also another alternative would be to go to a junkyard to get one. they are all the same from 82-92 and they dont wear out unless some motherf_ckin punk tears it up! umm im sorry to hear about that....
