Rearfenderwell Accident!!
Rearfenderwell Accident!!
Got a few questions and interested in some input ? New yearz eve i was at my buddy s house and a guy nocked at the door and said he hit my car i asked him if he was kidding he said no, i went out and took a look he dented the P!$$ outta the rear fenderwell and the little wraparound wing, im pretty sure its all body damage havent got to look at it in the day yet as far as mechanicil damage, the thing is he was in his company vehicle he said there would be a $500.00 deductibale on him for being in a accident in the company rig so he asked me till wait till tuesday and file it so he could say it was in his personal rig so it would only be a 250.00 deductibale. So should i just tell him to give me a $50.00 or $100.00 and ill say it happend tuesday and tell him we might not even have to go through the insurance company if he gave me $350.00 or$400.00 to fix it. So Whatta u guys think??
Not sure what to tell you on that--just cover your butt whatever you decide to do!!
You don't want to screw yourself for trying to be a nice guy!
Any way it'll probably cost more to fix it then $400--to do it right anyway!
Good luck!

Well,,1st off,,, I'd say tough sh-t for him,, he was the dumb-ss that hit your car.
I had (what was considered by me) minor damage to my camaro in the back ¼ of it,, needed a new quarter half, (or ALOT of bondo), tail light, bumper. & time,,, ended up getting a $1k check cut to me to fix it.
Don't get screwed over by a sob story

Apparently that guy doesn't understand how insurance works. When you hit somebody else, there is no deductable. Your insurance pays it in full, then just surcharges the hell out of you for the next x amount of years. You only have a deductable when you collect on your own insurance for self-inflicted damage. I hope that you called the police and had them file a report on the spot, otherwise you're likely to get totally screwed.

that sux to bring in a new year w/ that. I would tell the insurance company like right now, and let him take a hit for it, i mean he smashed up your car! Tough shi* for him!!!! Don't get him to pay outside of the companies knowing about it b/c if he gives you like $400-$500 up front, and then you get like $800-$1500 worth of rear end damage u take the hit for it. That would suck
