I'm replacing the driverside outside door handle in my 85 firebird. I got the new handle but I don't know how to get the old one off and put the new one one. Can anyone please help. Thanks a lot. A detailed description would help if possible.

 

Easy first take off interior door panel atleast arm rest, and trim around inside door handel. Next pop out litlle plastic clips holding panel on. There are two nuts on the bolt that is attached to the handle. 7/16 if I remember right. Lossen. there will be a rod attached to it. Clip (plastic white) that holds rod in place goes upward and the handel will pop out real easy.
