Full Detailed Fresh Paint
Full Detailed Fresh Paint
Not sure if that's a valid heading, but basically what I'm getting at is I'm going to repaint the entire car. Engine bay and all.
It started out as a transmission rebuild and then I figured while I have the motor and tranny out why not restore her back up because there's little to no rust yet, but she's getting to that point.
Basically what my question is, is to the paint guys out there. This will be my first paint job and since I'm doing the engine bay and all I was thinking about taking the bumper, fenders, side skirts, doors and all that off so that I have easy access to all the door jam spots and everything else on the car to really do it right.
Obviously doing that I will have to paint the bumpers, hood, fenders and all of that separately and I didn't know if there was any negative to doing this? I'm not mixing colors so there's no issue of it not blending or matching up that I can see.
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
