Original GM or Reproduction?

When buying a new front end for my camaro there is the choice of Original GM and reproduction. Reproduction is a lot cheaper, but is there really any big differences?

Its up to you, but i always buy the GM stuff since it seems to fit alot better.

Junkyard pieces (original GM) are cheaper than the repro's!

When it comes to plastic parts, half the time the GM stuff doesn't fit real well either. I'd probably junk-yard it too though. Plastic doesn't rust

I bought an original GM bumper through an ebay auction for $25. It cost me another $25 for shipping, and it's taking me forever to get the 15 coats of paint off of it. For $100 (my cost-not retail) I could have gotten a new aftermarket piece. For the difference in price, it would have saved me multiple hours worth of work, but since I have more time than money right now...
