Interior door panels
Interior door panels
Anyone ever fitted a thirdgen with a set of fourthgen interior door panels? I just bought a set of leather seats from a 2000 TA and the guy gave me the door panels as well. The seats and panels are MINT and just curious if anyone has ever succeeded in this door panel swap.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm in the same situation. I got a set from a 95 Z with the door panels.
As far as the panel itself goes, the only piece that needs to be modified is the one that hits the dash pad. I'm thinking of making a mold of it, filling in the area that sticks out and making a replacement out of fiberglass.
After that, it seems to be just a matter of relocation the door handle and lock. Plus some minor modifications for the pieces that hold the panel to the door.
I'm hoping to start working on this after I move at the end of the month.
