my aero wing spoiler is cracked

when i bought my car the was a crack on the base of my soiler on the driver side, over a few months the crack got bigger, and another formed on the passenger side. is this an idication of a crappy spoiler or my car twisting? also, is there any temporary fix i can do to make it look better when anybody looks at the back of my car they are drawn to those ugly cracks. I think i will eventually get a paint job and with that i will get the 91-92 Z28 spoiler, i really like that look.

You'll probably need to replace it. Aftermarket copies are available from different sources. Search for info and you'll find what you're after.

This is the nicest and most affordable one I've found yet. I'll be ordering one soon.

If your cracking is similar to mine, it's caused by the metal inserts rusting out. The metal expands and splits the urethane. Not much to do about it. GT Auto seems to have nice fiberglass pieces (quoting others) and they are a thirdgen sponsor.

I've got to replace mine too. How would the 4th generation-style wing look on a Formula? I've ssen it on a T/A, but the Formula has ground effect delete and different front/rear facias, and I've never seen the wing on one. Anyone have pics or a photoshop job?

Hey I am waiting for some guys to send me the pictures of there cars with my new 4th gen style wing. When I get them I will post them. I sell a bunch of the factory style but the 4th gen style is catching up fast. I think it looks better then factory but if you want to keep the factory look then the fiberglass one I have is the way to go.
