wheather strip seal problem
Tried the search already....
But I have this problem with new wheather seals.
I have -88 trans am t-top and I ordered new seals but they are completely different than the old ones. Don't know if the old ones where original. They got some silicone for keep the biggest leaks out..
Here is a link to the picture to clear things out:

The old seal is its place and the new seal is on the right side(not installed) to compare.
As you can see the old one is half as narrow as the new one. The new one has angular corners and old one has round corners.
Also the gutter where the seal is supposed to be installed has this "tin plate wall" in the middle. Its like cut in half. The old seal takes the other half and other half is empty. I think that the new seal fits there if there would be no tin plate in the middle. Also seems that the new seal is about 4" longer than the t-top edge where it belongs.
I hope this explanation makes some sense. Please help =)

Those look like C&C t tops on your car. You need to get the seals for those.
They are an aftermarket t top.
Try Sunroof Doctor. They should have them.

Re: wheather strip seal problem
Okay. I've never heard that before. So my t-top is NOT made by GM in the factory?? The car used to have normal roof and the t-top was installed later by some company???
But I have no change to make those seals fit??? Anybody has a photo of normal seals in the t-top?
And why didn't the factory offered the normal t-top car??

Thank you for your answers.
It seems that Hawk still sells those C&C t-top seals. $89 per side.
But I think that I'm going to make some modifications to fit those normal ones..
