Dying grey cloth seats black...Does this work?

I have a question about dying. I found a nice pair of light grey cloth seats from a '97 Firehawk for sale. I really liked them, but I only want black seats. I cant find black seats anywhere. I was wondering if the seats would come out looking good if I had them dyed by a professional. I was told that they can use a spray gun tpe of tool, like an airbrush used for painting, in order to do the seats. Will the black look good? Will it look faded? How long would this last? Does anybody know of this being done? Does anybody have any pics of dyed seats? Please let me know. Thanks.

I bet it'd work. I dyed some of my interior to a darker tan and it's still going.

from grey to black shoudnt be a problem at all.Have someone dye them and dont use that can spray paint stuff.thats not dye its paint, and will wear off.it is good for touching up high wear areas.
