wet road,spin out,est. 55 mph,spun backwards sideways into a curb. snapped the D-side axle!! yes it snapped right off!!right at the hub!! I later discovered that the panhard rod has a slight bend in it and the d-side LCA is....mangled good,nothing noticable on the p-side LCA. nothing broke besides the axle,the control arm seemed to absorb some shock without transfering any to the body. I know the rear unibody may be buckled,how do I know for sure?If I have to scrap my Trans Am after 4 years of near death experinces and lots of fun...I won't cry too much,I'm lucky I didn't wrap her around a tree when I was 17!! I may need a GM chassy that I can swap my 305 HO driveline into,another T/A would be cool but theres nothing wrong with a G-body or A-body,yes I'm checking the classifieds now,I live in norfolk VA,thanks for the help,I've got my fingers crossed (not really,but you know what I mean)hoping for the best!!I wish I could post the picture!but I would probably hurt someones feelings with such graphic material anyways.
