GtAuto Group purchase?

I dont' know about you guys, but my rear wing (made of some foam rubber crap) is starting to bubble and will eventually crack. I think it would be cool if Gt Auto offered us some sort of group purchase deal. Let me know what you guys think. Also Gt Auto, your spoilers look great, and I plan on purchasing one with or without the GP (although it would be AWESOME of you to offer a discount).

I too agree that it would be awesome to have a GP for their spoilers b/c they only make the best but I am in no position to be able to be part of a GP like that at this time. WHo knows maybe after W2's come, I have no idea.

hey we are working on something as I type might be a group purchase or a discount sale price for a month or so. We are going to have new pricing on the new 4th gen wing along with a sale on them too.

Cool, I can't wait! Anyway, I plan on getting a fiberglass 85-90 wraparound wing and maybe a '90 style teardrop cowl hood (if you end up making one in fiberglass, that is...it would be awesome). Thanks for the info!

Hey gt auto, let me know when the gp starts or when you're going to offer the fourth gen wing at a discount, that is one bad-a$$ spoiler! E-mail me if you have any clue as to when this gp discount might start. Thanx, Joe.

Thought I would put this topic back up, because I am very interested in getting a fiberglass spoiler for my GTA. I would especially like it if there was a group purchase or a sale price or something, because I'm spending my spring break money on it and painting it myself. Also how is the hood coming along at GT auto my brother is wanting one. thanks

Just one more vote for a group purchase (preferably in the summer) for the '85-'90 spoiler. like the guy a couple above this post, I'll be buying with or with out the purchase, but it'd be great to get a little bit of a discount. I've heard nothing but good about the product.

OK How do I go about starting this GP??? I am putting fiberglass on the mold for the hood as we speek. It will take some time I put one sheet of glass on it every day. After I get the top done(12pcs of glass) I start the bottom(12 pcs of glass) then let it sit for a week or two to cure out then split the mold and let it vent for a day or two and wet sand and buff it. I will put some pictures of the prototype on my site sometime this week. LET ME KNOW HOW TO START THIS GP!!

In the past, group purchases have been handled by 1 or 2 individuals who gathered up all of the participant's information and passed it on to the seller. I'm sure that it would be a little easier if you did it directly, if you had the time and ability. First, you need to decide how many of us are required for the group purchase, and what sort of discount you'll be offering if that number is reached.

In any event, my school loan will be here soon, so I'll be ready to buy.

This is as good a place as any to post it, but you might try on the Group Purchase board also Usually the person starting it would define the number of people needed, and any price breaks depending on the final number. Personnaly, I'd love to replace mine, too, but this cam swap is killing me.

OK I think I got it. NO group purchase needed!! I will run a sale till the end of the month (kinda like a group purchase without the group) This will be on the 85-90 style and the 4th gen style. The sale price will go by zones, zone 1-4 zone 5&6 and zone 7&8. Your zip code will tell you what zone you are in. Click on the banner for more info!!!!

I still dont get how much the spoiler is going to be. I want to purchase the 4th gen. spoiler. My zip code isnt listed, therefor I will have to pay $90. But how much is the spoiler? Also, will the 4th gen spoiler bolt right on? Or will I have to either put it on myself or have it professionally done? Please let me know, thanks.

oh yea, to put the 4th gen style on you might have to fill some holes and drill others. Depending on what wing is on your car now. It's not that hard and I think it is worth the time.
