Okay, so I screwed up. (I'm new to the 3rd gen scene - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)

I bought a mint dashpad off eBay. It was listed as "80-92 Firebird/Camaro/Z28/RS). Got it today. It definitely isn't the right one for my 92 RS. My guess is that it's from a 'Bird.

The side defroster vents have 5 slots rather than the 3 in my RS. The speaker grills are hard plastic with thin slots running side to side, as opposed to the molded in front to back slots I've got. On the underside, 31385 is molded into the rubber where it wraps around from the top.

Oh, and it lacks the 'kickup' on the front edge that goes over/around the top of the AC panel

I need to resell this and don't want to subject some other idiot like me to buying the wrong part. Can anyone tell me what year/model it's likely from?

What you desribe sounds like a Firebird dash, the one in my 91 is exactly as you describe except the speaker panels are front to back. Perhaps they made that change in 92, but its my guess that its a Firebird dash.
