"Scratch Remover"question and cracked front end question

My car has some small scratches in the paint and I was wondering if anyone has tried that scratch remover stuff they advertise on TV. Does it really work? How deep of a scratch does it work for?
Also, I just noticed about a week ago that my front clip is cracked by the upper right corner of the grille. I believe it goes all the way through. Is there any way I can fix this myself or should I have the body shop do it? Thanks.

those scratch remover parts suck DIc. Sorry but its true. I used every type followed instructions not even an improvement. The crack in your front bumper will eventually get bigger. Applying body mold or any other substance is not gonna work. Trust me i know. Believe it or not i suggest u replace it for about $75.00 get a decent paint and u should have not probs but hey thats my opinion.

Do you mean replacing the whole front clip? Can a bodyshop fix my current one? Because other than that its in great shape.

Yes they can fix it but as time goes on the molding will just let go. Keep in mind the front bumper is part fiberglass and repairing such a crack would be installing a new one. Like i said if the body shop repairs it, U must be very careful while your parking nobody backs up to your bumper even going 2mph, the slightest hit will pop the crack right open. Ive repaired the crack in the front bumper of my camaro about 3 times, got tired of it and ordered a new one. hope this helps

NOpe not at GM but there are places that sell front bumper covers(aftermarket)i believe classic industries has them for a cheap price. What i mean aftermarket is not made by GM but from another company. I got mines for 75.00 and fits perfectly dont be shy to look around at your body shops. They sell it there also but u must keep looking around till u find a price that your happy with.

The scratch removers only work if it is a scratch in the clear coat. Nothing else.
