92 heritage stripes
Im currently looking around at 92 z28's and ive come across a few heritage editions, my question is, with the stripe package on the z28's ive seen some with only the blisters on the hoods painted while the stripes are only on the rear deck lid. Im just curious if they came both ways from factory or if people have had them painted like that over the years. thanks!
Re: 92 heritage stripes
nope. They all came with decals on the front and rear. If you haven't seen on them on the hood, then the hood was repainted and the decals weren't reapplied.

thanks, and i seem to remember reading somewhere that all the 91-92 5.7 cars were hard tops only? if so my old 91 was not a real z28 lol

Re: 92 heritage stripes
Scott am I right saying that the blisters on a Heritage Z28 were painted while the rest of the stripe was a decal... If so this may explain why your seeing some with rear stripe colored blisters.
Re: 92 heritage stripes
The blisters were painted.
If you had a 91/92 Z28 and it did really have the 350, then it should not have ttops. However, there were aftermarket ttops put in the factory 350 cars. C&C manufactured them from a hard top car since the factory wouldn't. Your old car might have had the aftermarket ttops installed. They were very common in '91 and '92.
