Hi, I have a n 85 Z28 and it has that dinky little 85 mhp speedo with two sides on it. I was wondering if I could change out the whole guage cluster to a new year with a faster speedo, so that I could open up the possibility of adding white faced guages???

Yes you can. I have an 84 Z28 HO that I took the gage cluster from an 88 IROC and just swapped it right in.

No changes necessary. Althought the lights have changed locations over the years (i.e. choke, ses) so just reuse your cover plate. The ecm will light up the correct lights. The backing of the cluster hasn't changed.
