somebody can probably answer this better than me, but...

When I took the ground effects of the '89 IROC parts car, I saw that it had a special mounting flange spot welded along the rocker panel for the side ground effects to mount to. the nose/bumper cover would be changed too. other than that, you may just have to drill a few holes. PITA though

Yes, but you need all the brackets, and like stated above you need to spot weld the bracket under the door. You also need to drill holes for the studs on the fenders, doors, and rear quarter. The front and rear bumper covers are a direct swap. If you have foglamps, you can do like I did and just turn the assembly over and bolt it to the bar above where it currently mounts. The standard nose is shorter, and so are the foglamp brackets. If you do that, your lamps will sit deeper in the grille (like mine). If you want, you can just get IROC/Z28 brackets and mount the lamps normally. I did my swap back in '89, and it was actually quite easy. The worst part for me was that there weren't any parts available in wrecking yards back then, but of its a different story now...

Oh yeah one more thing. Since my car didn't have gfx originally, I had the freedom to choose, and I chose TransAm side gfx. Much better looking imho, and they go great with the Camaro styling.
