sub frame connectors

Can they be welded on without removing the carpet because of a fire hazzard?

I didn't remove my carpet for the installation of my SSMs. I had mine done at a GM dealership so if it was necessary it would have been done. However, results will vary for different SFC.

OK, truth be told. We didn't pull up the carpet as your supposed to when my Alston SFC's were welded in. Just keep a spray bottle of water handy in case.
