Did all camaros come with a over head console?? If not what years??

 

I believe it was from 85-87 in both Camaro's and Firebirds.

My brother is selling one which is from a Hardtop car (t-top cars and hardtop cars had different shaped overhead consoles) and is in excellent condition and complete including all maounting hardware and the flashlight (Camaro flashlight)which works great!!. he wants $50.00 for it.

I believe the years are 84 to 84. Dave is correct: There are different versions of the console, a t-top and a coupe (the t-top is straight, the coupe slightly curved to fit the roof line). The coupe version has a cardboard reinforcement piece under the headliner that you'll need. Be sure to get not only the four mounting studs and two screws but also a piece of wiring harness. By the way $50 is a great price for a console compete with flashlight.

The piece, bare cardboard on the side that faces the console, and some foam on the side which mates against the roof, is there to reinforce the headliner.

overhead consoles are cool as hell. they really ad a nice touch to your interior. i've got one in my iroc, plus 3 sitting in my garage.

 

I have an overhead console in my '83 with t-tops. I am not sure if it originally came in it though. The only thing is that I am looking for a flashlight and cant seem to find one. Most of the parts in my car ended up being from an '86 though. The previous owner must have done alot of heavy mods to the exterior. As of now I have the nose and ground effects from an '85-'90 not sure what year exactly on my '83 TA. I also have the hatch with a third brake light. I know that that didnt come stock. I am currently putting in black plastic interior pieces that I bought from ebay in my car as well, they are from a '91. I am looking for some black or dark gray seats to put in my car. If anybody knows where to get a set for less that $450 let me know. Thanks.
