Headlight wiring through core support
does anyone have a picture of front end of F Body, with bumper off, or diagram of the wiring through the core support...I am replacing front end of wife's wrecked '90 RS...although I took pictures before removing wiring to work on car, my photography skills 'S-U-C-K-E-D'...I got pictures of wires going through holes in core support, but they were closeup pictures, and I can't tell where they go to...I'm at a stand still until I get some info/help on how to route these light harnesses...also, I need a diagram of how radiator and A/C cooler [?] mounts to core support...
here are pictures of the car before and after of what I've done so far...

I think they pass thru the two big holes directly behind the headlamps. Then under the upper core support.

I have a 1990 FSM, but I don't have any way to copy the page. I have seen people post links to online manuals, but I don't know where they are myself. It's on page 8A-201-10 figure A. Most of it comes thru the big holes on each side, the part that ties the two together seems to be up at the top of radiator height. There are grounds on each side that have to be connected or really weird things happen.

Re: Headlight wiring through core support
I went out and looked at my car which is untouched in this respect. The cross-car part of the harness runs on the bottom side of the boxed-in area of the upper core support. At the ends, the headlight wiring runs thru the round openings in the core support. The feeding end is on the driver's side and runs along the bottom of the inner fender well.

Thanks for info afremont...I wish I had one of those shop manuals...I do have a Haynes, and a Chilton repair manual, but they don't show me anything...when I bought donor car for parts, guy I bought it from said he had a Chilton manual, and I thought it was going to be one of the 'big' ones that shows everything, but it is just a small one like the Haynes repair manual I already had...might be a few extra things in it, but wasn't what I was hoping for...

Re: Headlight wiring through core support
I understand. I was fortunate, I had a friend that bought a new truck back when I bought my car. He ordered a service manual and nagged me to get one. Once I saw his, I was on the band wagon and ordered one. The covers are falling off now. I wish I had a computer version of exactly the same thing. It's hard to find stuff sometimes, there's probably 1000 pages and the index is pretty small. The pages are real thin, it's like a phone book.
Were you able to get it routed?

Re: Headlight wiring through core support
afremont...I got it ran to passenger side, but once I got there, I started noticing wires that had been pulled a part, from where that corner had been crushed and bent down...now I'm trying to figure all of that out [my electrical skills are as bad ,if not worse than my photography skills lol ]...I thought once I got body fixed, the hard part was done...turns out, that was the easy part... :-)
