What 4th gen parts do you want for your 3rd gen?
I need help deciding whether I should part out a high mileage fourth gen Firebird or just sell it complete. I hope the Thirdgen owners here could give me some feedback about what parts are desirable for upgrades and what fair asking prices would be.
Thanks
Thanks

the seats would be a good part for upgrade into a 3rd gen, maybe the dash and console. the rear end also, oh, dont forget the the engine and tranny (pending). these are all hot items for upgrades into a thirdgen, expecially if the interior is leather. hope this is what you wanted, or something like it. what is wrong with the 4th gen? is it beyond being repaired?

oh, to give you an idea of what they're worth, you can price them from ebay and even the classified section here. i've see just the leather seats go for over $600 on ebay all the time.

Camaro 22,
Your suggestions are very helpful, Thank You. The car is not damaged. I am just considering selling almost every part and starting a race car project from the bare body, up.

You'd probably do better to just sell the car as opposed to parting it out. You'd probably get about the same amount of money without all the extra work. Just my 2 cents.

Z28Racer: Sorry no 6spd. I would be parting out a 6cyl. Firebird.
jseversole: If I sell it, I would have to find a undamaged shell (does ayone know where to get one) or fabricate a chassis from scratch ($$$$).
