my outside, driverside mirror broke on my 89 rs. how do i change this thing cause right now it looks like crap. its not a power mirror. thanks.

 

I am assuming you mean the mirror lens is cracked. Go to your local Auto Parts store snd see if they stock the replacement mirror glass. My local Pep Boys has them. Carefully break and remove the remaining old glass. While you have the glass out go ahead and tighten the screws that mount the frame to the housing. Clean the plastic backing piece with alcohol and replace with the new mirror. Most have a coule of strips of 3M adhesive tape on the back. Or silicone it in place.

 

i should of said that the entire glass is broke out..gone completly.
