GTA Shifter Knob Removal???

Engine: 5.7L TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27:1
Just take a small flat blade screwdriver (or similar tool) and carefully pry out the clip on the front side of the **** assembly far enough that you can grasp it and pull it the rest of the way out.
Be careful, there is also a spring that sometimes fall out when the **** is removed.
That's it....
