pull the old emblems off and put on z28 ones with epoxy, try not to break the little things off on the back of the rocker emblems though

Pictures? Look at your car with RS emblems. Then look at a picture of a Z28. Make note of the emblems. That is what your car would look like with them.

Why don't you just leave your car an RS? If you want a Z28 then get one. The only people you will fool are the people who don't know about the car so RS and Z28 means nothing to them and they really won't car.

I guess I agree with camaro6spd. Its going to be a bigger job than just changing the badging to clone a camaro anyways. You've got to change the hood, some of the dash stuff, and I think even some of the carpet in some editions. Just because you have an RS doesn't make it any worse. The 350 in my RS will out run a bunch of the 305 TPI engines...

im thinking about doing the same thing,i like my rs,but they are concidered inferior to z28s.ive owned two third gens and i dont know all the differances in the camaros.i suspect 95 percent of people would not know my rs wasn't a z28 if i changed the emblems. a big thing in car crafting is upgrading to the top model

i want people to know my car is an rs. It sounds awesome, so people know it has a v-8. When i get the 350, anyone who wants to race because it is "just an rs" will learn. Sorta like a sleeper.

What does it matter if you have an RS or a Z28, the B4C - RS's came with all the Z28 stuff but you dont see them changing to Z28 clones. if i had an RS i would leave it. and then make it so fast that people believe all RS's are fast!!
I have an IROC 5.7 Liter, and i plan on leaving off all the 5.7 liter badges and making it look as though it is a 305 to the people who know camaros. and then they wont expect anything. and it will be a surprise when i kick their A$$. but i will most likely take it back to almost 100% stock appearing!

and then with my engine plans i will decieve them all!!

Everyone who asks what kind of car I have and I say a 1992 Camaro RS, most guys say "Oh.. an RS?" But I don't care. So what if its not as fast as a Z28? It's a CAMARO and I've loved third gens since I can remember. So if thats why you're doing this, don't let other people get to you.

Sorry bout postin twice in the same topic, I know some people get annoyed by that for some reason.

IMO instead of having a car that looks like a Z and performs like an RS, I would rather have a car that looks like an RS and performs like a Z. To those that deem your RS as inferior to a Z, screw 'em. Do the mods to your RS and make them respect it. Personally I like the look of the '91-'92 RS over the Z, a little more understated than the Z with just enugh flair to get noticed.

Pioneer DEH-P4000 head unit
Pioneer 6X9 Tri-Ax speakers
Jensen 8" dual voice coil sub
Blacked out tail lights and side markers (VHT
Nightshades spray tint)

(Hopefully these lists will grow quickly)

I like to think of it as a empty canvas

I was goning to do that but decided not to for this reason. Lets say you race a Rustang or a Rice Burner and they actualy win lol Well they will probly see the Z-28 badges and then when they win go to there frineds and say i beat a Z-28 in realiy it wasent thus giving the people that the Z-28 is slow. just my .02

I am deffinitely for keeping the RS badges on the car.

Definition of *****: Trying to be something youre not.

If you were to really want to clone the Z, put in a 5.7liter, change all the suspension, and interior to match the Z, Then, by all means, change the badges, because then, you will own a Z.
